The Chemical South Transport Story

In 1997, our owner and founder, Michael Gale, opened the doors to Chemical South Transport. As a veteran of the trucking industry, he learned everything from the ground up, through dedicated determination and hard work. Mike started out as an owner-operator and after years of service to another company, decided to apply what he’d learned and began Chemical South Transport on a mission to develop long-term relationships with customers and employees alike.

Starting with just five key customers the company quickly made waves in the industry. Michael Gale established the business on values that were important to him: 

“that customer service should be held to as high a standard as safety and efficiency”. 

It is perhaps due to the principles and values the company is founded on, that most of our customer-base has been obtained through word of mouth. 

Now, Chemical South Transport serves clients all over the Midwest and Eastern United States, with a strong focus on the Southeast Coastal Empire.
